Service Ambassador

Service Ambassadors are highly motivated, upbeat individuals who will need to work well both in a team environment as well as independently when interacting with customers.

Reporting to the Customer Service Duty Manager - Nadi, the Service Ambassador is a frontline role and works primarily as a customer service officer assisting customers with their departure and arrival experience.

The Service Ambassador will provide customer facing support to the Nadi Fiji Airways and Fiji Link Ground Operations departments which includes queue combing, kiosk check-in, escorting customers, assisting with basic customer queries, supporting all employees in the Ground Operations teams and perform other administrative tasks as required by the Customer Service Duty Manager - Nadi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in the day-to-day operations and provides customer and administrative support to the Nadi based Fiji Airways and Fiji Link Ground Operations teams.
  • Assists customers with their departure and arrival requirements
  • Seeks to resolve any customer issues as a priority before directing them to the appropriate personnel for additional assistance when required.
  • Reassures customers of the local COVID Safety Measures in place and encourage adherence.
  • Assists customers by directing them to the appropriate check-in queues and Bag Drop queue including advising the location of other service providers and facilities.
  • Escorts customers to the international terminal from the domestic terminal and vice versa as required.
  • Assists with the delivery and collection of documents from other stakeholders at the airport.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a tertiary qualification from a recognised institution.
  • To have at least 1 year of experience in a customer facing role in retail, hospitality or other service sector would be an advantage.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office.
