This role reports to Manager IT Operations and Infrastructure and is responsible for designing, developing and implementing complex systems and network solutions to support the business objectives for Fiji Airways. The successful individual should have a deep understanding of datacentre architecture principles and the ability to work with cross-functional teams ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement systems & network architecture solutions that fulfil business needs and are consistent with the organization's technology strategy.
• Develops technical standards and guidelines for design, deployment and maintenance of datacentre infrastructure.
• Builds consistency, integrity and automation across multiple sites and systems.
• Evaluates new technologies and tools to determine their suitability for adoption.
• Design and implement technical solutions to uplift confidentiality, integrity and availability of Fiji Airways information systems.
• Leads IT infrastructure life cycle processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Review system performances and lead pro-active maintenance activities to reduce any downtimes and service failures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent is essential.
• Certifications from TOGAF, Microsoft, VMware, Cisco or Fortinet are highly desirable.
• At least 10 years of work experience in the IT industry with minimum 5 years' experience working in datacenter infrastructure design and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
