Engineering Graduate Trainee
Reporting to the Engineering Training Coordinator, the Engineering Graduate Trainee role provides support to Engineering functions including Technical Services, Engineering Planning, and Technical Materials, in accordance with Fiji Airways Technical Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties safely and in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Safety Management Systems Manual, Fiji Airways MMOE, and relevant Technical and Line/ETOPS Manuals.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved engineering data and OEM requirements.
- Assist Technical Services Engineers, Aircraft Planning Engineers, or Materials Officers as directed by Coordinators.
- Follow instructions issued by Engineers or Coordinators within the assigned work area.
- Promote disciplined work practices aligned with Fiji Airways, CAAF, and OEM standards.
- Comply with employment contracts, collective agreements, and CPPM requirements
- Demonstrate behaviours consistent with Fiji Airways values.
- Contribute to individual and team objectives set by the Line Manager.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Coordinator or Line Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Successfully completed an Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
- 1 year of industrial work experience would be an added advantage.
