Engineering Graduate Trainee
Reporting to the Engineering Training Coordinator, the Engineering Graduate Trainee role provides support to Engineering functions including Technical Services, Engineering Planning, and Technical Materials, in accordance with Fiji Airways Technical Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work safely and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Safety Management System (SMS), Fiji Airways Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MMOE), Technical Operating Procedures, and Line/ETOPS Manuals.
- Perform duties in accordance with approved engineering data, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Provide support to the Technical Services, Engineering Planning Engineer, or Materials Officer as directed by the relevant Coordinator.
- Promote disciplined work practices and uphold Fiji Airways, Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF), and OEM standards.
- Carry out instructions issued by the Coordinator, Technical Services, or Engineering Planning Engineer.
- Comply with the requirements of applicable employment contracts, collective agreements, and the Company Policy and Procedures Manual (CPPM).
- Demonstrate behaviours consistent with Fiji Airways' AIR Values and contribute to the achievement of individual and team objectives.
- Demonstrate initiative, effective communication, teamwork, and a willingness to question and challenge processes to support continuous improvement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the applicable Coordinator or Line Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Successfully completed an Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
- 1 year of industrial work experience would be an added advantage.
