Duty Manager
As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the award winning standards that define the Fiji Airways Premier Lounge experience. A key member of our Lounge operational leadership team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for staff, ensuring smooth day to day operations while supporting the Lounge Manager in shaping both team success and guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees shift operation to ensure guest comfort and immediate service levels are maintained.

Provide direction and assistance when required while supervising lounge service employees.

Ensures amenity par levels and lounge cleanliness is maintained throughout shift.

Uphold all Health and Safety, accident reporting and ensure all documents are updated and completed.

Draft team rosters and communicate this to relevant staff in an appropriate and timely manner.

Conduct Staff training sessions as and when required under the direction of the lounge Manager.

Briefs F&B Team of any changes to service, product, training, forecasts ahead of time and maintains presence constantly throughout the shift.

Liaise with airport CSDM and Lounge Concierge regarding VIP guest arrivals/ departures and special requests.

Contribute exceptional product knowledge to promote Premier Lounge and Fiji Airways products and assist guests with enquiries.

Monitor timeliness of food and beverage service and maintain basic knowledge of dietary and allegiant knowledge.

Manage the Lounge operations in the absence of the Lounge Manager.

Manage effective cost control to minimize wastage.

Proactively adheres to and upholds consistency in SOPs, service flows, processes and procedures.

Undertake general or special duties as required by the Lounge Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Management.

Minimum 2 years' experience at Supervisor or Assistant Manager Level in a restaurant or hotel food & beverage outlet.

Barista and Bartender skills including basic and specialty cocktail is a desirable skill for the role

Language skills in Japanese, Chinese and/ or French will be an advantage.

Ability to do shift work including early morning, late nights and weekends.

Computer skills including MS word and MS Excel is required

Demonstrate excellent customer service and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a working in a high pressure and busy environment.

Strong communicator and confident providing direction to team members.

Holds current First Aid & CPR qualification.
