Cybersecurity Analyst
Fiji Airways is looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our Cybersecurity team and provide proactive support in protecting Fiji Airways digital assets.
This role reports to the Manager Cybersecurity and is responsible for identifying, assessing and investigating threats and vulnerabilities to enhance the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. The role also involves developing, documenting, and regularly testing incident response plans to drive continuous improvement in threat detection and response capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, assess and recommend measures for maintaining security of IT systems and lead implementation of new security measures.

Perform risk and vulnerability assessment for IT assets and provide mitigating action reports.

Proactively monitor/respond to network activities using IT security technologies for illegal, unintentional or unauthorized security incidents.

Analyze log files across diverse systems and environments to identify indicators of compromise and potential threats.

Conduct periodic and on-demand audits, reviews and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file systems, datacenter access and VPNs to determine compliance.

Assist IT Operations to implement and mitigate highlighted risks.

Develop new processes in response to changes in business requirements and the information security landscape.

Advise management on the latest techniques and methods to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover against evolving cyber threats.

Manage security incidents by correlating indicators of compromise (IOCs), identifying root causes, assessing threat severity, and recommending and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

Assess and investigate events and incidents, following established incident response procedures to contain and neutralize threats.

Lead the security awareness program, overseeing related initiatives and activities.

Collect and analyze key cyber risk metrics, and report on program effectiveness and performance.

Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure the implementation and adherence to information security best practices.

Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent implementation of global information security policies and best practices.

Undertake additional information security related initiatives and projects assigned by Manager Cybersecurity.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent is essential.

Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), CompTIA Security (Plus) or equivalent cybersecurity certifications are required.

At least 3 years IT industry experience with minimum 1-year working experience in Cybersecurity.

Knowledge of new and ongoing threats, technological trends and developments in the area of cyber security and cyber risk management.

Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks is desirable.

Excellent communication and engagement skills required to engage with key business stakeholders.
