Customer Ticketing Agent
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating seamless travel experiences?
Join our Global Sales team as a Customer Ticketing Agent, based in Suva, where you will play a key role in providing accurate itinerary planning, reservations, and ticketing services for both domestic and international travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and create itineraries with correct class bookings according to fare rules for leisure and corporate clients.

Construct and compute fare quotations based on travel itineraries.

Arrange all required travel documentation.

Issue airline tickets, ETKTS, EMDs, and other airline documents.

Handle medical travel queries and ticketing in coordination with the reservations-medical department.

Manage group sales requests and quotations, including follow up to final acceptance.

Provide information on visa requirements and all relevant travel restrictions.

Guide IATA Agents with reservations, fares, and ticketing, and attend to the FJ Agent Support Queue.

Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.

Resolve accounting discrepancy queries and minimize Agency Debit Memos (ADMs).

Collect ticket payments and process refunds.

Compile and complete the Daily Sales Returns (DSR) and ensure security of all ticket cash and cheque proceeds.

Check DSRs daily and dispatch accountable documents to the Suva Cashier.

Assist in resolving customer complaints and obtaining regular service feedback.

Maintain professional service delivery even in stressful situations.

Assist with invoicing and other office duties as required.

Be available for rostered Saturdays and ad hoc after-hours assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To have successfully completed Year 13 or equivalent.

Fares & Ticketing Stage I & II.
-
At least 2 years' experience in a customer service environment.

Minimum 2 years' experience in airline sales and ticketing.

Working knowledge of Amadeus Reservations and Ticketing.

Ability to build normal and complex itinerary bookings.
-
Sound knowledge of IATA Rules and Regulations.

Excellent communication skills and good telephone etiquettes.

Proficient with Microsoft applications.

Aware of language(s) and culture(s) of Fiji and neighboring Pacific Islands.

General background knowledge of the Tourism and Airline Industry.
