International Women’s Day 2022

So grateful to be part of an organisation that celebrates its women and enables meaningful dialogue to make our workplace an even better place. The Sofitel Fiji ballroom was bathed in purple (with the exception of some rebels, no names) as 400 women of Fiji Airways descended for breakfast and talanoa with our CEO Andre Viljoen. Needless to say, the past two years have been challenging, so it was fantastic to have a day to celebrate with my sisters in aviation.
And while we celebrated how far we’ve come, it was also an opportune time to confront some realities that still exist for women. It’s encouraging to have outcomes from today that will help women perform to their potential. – Jessan Doton
